During the summer vacation on the Baltic Sea, he had a terrible experience in which he and his son almost drowned. They had just been having fun jumping into the high waves when they were caught in a current that pulled them out to sea. They swam for their lives against the current and, with great effort and swallowing lots of water, managed to reach the shore only slowly, while meter-high waves relentlessly crashed over them. He says he had never felt so powerless in his entire life, and it would have been such a senseless death.

His son, completely exhausted, slept the whole afternoon, which probably already represented his conflict resolution. It was only five days later that the father entered several healing phases, which, based on the symptoms, could be assigned to a powerlessness conflict, a death-fright conflict, and a territorial fear conflict:

It began with severe stabbing pain behind the left collarbone and at the rib arch for half an hour, during which he could hardly move and could only breathe shallowly. For a total of three days, it felt like a bruised rib, where one can only breathe shallowly due to the pain and doesn’t know how to lie at night. These symptoms pointed to an inflammation of the thick ectodermally lined lymphatic vessels behind the collarbone, which Roberto Barnai, in his Organ Atlas, describes as another variant of the powerlessness conflict. The better-known variants refer to the former excretory ducts of the Thyroid Exretory Ducts and pharyngeal arch ducts, which in the PCL phase lead to throat tightness with pulling pain, often accompanied by migraine.
The regeneration of the ectodermal lymph duct intima is also a harmless process, but due to swelling, possible lymphatic congestion, and an intensified perception of the heartbeat as well as stabbing pain, it can easily be misinterpreted as a heart problem.

Next came a caseating breakdown phase of the previously shock-induced tissue growth of the lung alveoli, accompanied by localized, slightly sour night sweats for three nights. (Endoderm, pneumonia, resolved death-fright conflict)

This was followed by the rebuilding of the bronchial mucosa, which becomes numb and ulcerated during the conflict-active phase. (Ectoderm, conflict: territorial fear or shock-fright conflict). Initially, this was marked by hypersensitivity with a dry cough lasting another five days, along with such intense sweating that he had to change his pajamas and bed linens three times each night.

Without knowledge of the 5 Biological Laws, he would surely have panicked at the beginning and called emergency services. Knowing them allowed him to wait for the symptoms quite calmly. In cases of very intense activation, these healing phases can indeed last much longer than the relatively short shock experience itself.
