Description
For a long time now, I have been caring for someone who used to be very close to me and who is not in very good physical health. Over the years, I have had mild conjunctivitis every now and then for two to three days, but always only in my right eye. And, lacking knowledge of 5BN, I had not yet been able to understand the cause.
This year, I was away for six weeks for the first time and was unable to “check on him” the entire time, which was an unusually long recurrence of the seemingly frequent visual separation conflict with the person I care for. The SBS of the ectodermal conjunctiva was therefore in the conflict-active phase throughout my vacation.
When I returned from vacation and saw him again and noticed how well he had managed without me, the SBS went into resolution.
During the conflict-resolution phase, I developed a severe two-week conjunctivitis in my right eye.
We analyzed this in the 5BN learning group and were able to reconstruct the connection—and also realized that the SBS had occurred frequently in the past when I was occasionally unable to check on him for a few days.
